Discipline Committee

Introduction:
The Discipline Committee of the college is constituted to maintain discipline and ensure a calm, orderly, and peaceful academic environment on campus. It plays a crucial role in promoting responsible behaviour among students while supporting the educational goals of the institution. The committee acts as a regulatory body that handles issues related to indiscipline, conflicts, and violations of college rules, fostering an atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth.
Objective:
The primary objective of the Discipline Committee is to promote and maintain a disciplined academic atmosphere by ensuring that students follow the prescribed rules and regulations. The committee is committed to preventing any form of physical confrontation, promoting mutual respect, and taking necessary actions against indiscipline to uphold the integrity and reputation of the institution.
Functions:

1. Ensure Peaceful Campus Environment:
   Maintain a calm and peaceful academic atmosphere that supports teaching, learning, and overall development.
2. Prevent Physical Confrontations:
   Take proactive measures to prevent physical confrontations and conflicts among students by promoting mutual respect and understanding.
3. Inquiry into Indiscipline:
   Conduct fair and impartial inquiries into reported incidents of indiscipline or misconduct by students within the college premises.
4. Model Disciplinary Action:
   Initiate appropriate disciplinary actions, such as warnings, fines, suspension, or other corrective measures, against students found guilty of indiscipline.
5. Prevent Future Violations:
   Recommend and implement preventive measures and awareness programs to reduce future incidents of violence, confrontation, or misconduct.
6. Promote Ethical Conduct:
   Encourage students to adhere to the code of conduct, emphasizing values such as responsibility, respect, honesty, and cooperation.
7. Record Maintenance:
   Maintain proper documentation of complaints, inquiries, disciplinary actions, and resolutions for institutional record and follow-up.
