Tour Committee

Introduction:
The Tour Committee is responsible for planning and executing educational and recreational trips in coordination with the college management and students. The committee selects destinations, makes necessary arrangements, and maintains travel records. The trips organized by the committee aim to provide students with both practical exposure and opportunities for leisure and bonding.
Objective:

To organize educational and recreational trips that enhance students’ learning and experiential knowledge.
To provide practical exposure to industry operations through industrial visits.
To promote social interaction, team-building, and cultural experiences among students.
To ensure safe, well-managed, and enjoyable travel experiences for all participants.

Functions:

Plan and Organize Trips:
Select destinations and coordinate logistics for one-day picnics, industrial visits, and other excursions.
One-Day Picnics:
Organize recreational trips to resorts and amusement parks such as Wet-n-Joy Park, Imagicaa, and Great Escape Water Park for student enjoyment and relaxation.
Industrial Visits:
Arrange industrial visits for self-finance students as per the curriculum, providing practical exposure to the functioning of businesses and industries. Examples include visits to companies like Go-Cheese, Parle-G, and Sundaram Books.
Maintain Travel Records:
Keep detailed records of all trips, including participant lists, itineraries, and related documentation.
Student Coordination:
Coordinate with students to ensure participation, adherence to schedules, and compliance with rules during trips.
Safety and Management:
Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the trips by implementing proper guidelines and supervision.
Feedback and Improvement:
Collect feedback from participants to improve the planning and execution of future trips.
