Examination Committee

Introduction:
The Examination Committee is a key body responsible for organizing and managing all academic examinations in the institution. It ensures that both internal and external (university) examinations are conducted in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner, strictly following the rules and guidelines prescribed by the affiliating university and government education authorities. The committee plays an important role in maintaining academic integrity, discipline, and evaluation standards in the college.
Objective:
The main objective of the Examination Committee is to conduct all examinations smoothly and fairly, maintain academic standards, and ensure that the process of assessment reflects the true performance of students. The committee is committed to upholding transparency, preventing malpractices, and facilitating timely and accurate evaluation.
Functions:

  1. Examination Planning and Scheduling:
    Prepare and publish the examination schedule and academic calendar well in advance to ensure smooth conduct without conflicts.
  2. Question Paper Management:
    Coordinate the preparation, collection, and safe custody of question papers, ensuring confidentiality and security until the examination begins.
  3. Invigilation Management:
    Appoint and manage invigilators for all examinations to ensure proper supervision and discipline in the examination halls.
  4. Conduct of Examinations:
    Ensure proper arrangements for seating, invigilation, identity verification of candidates, and overall discipline during the examinations.
  5. Evaluation Process:
    Facilitate timely evaluation of internal assessment and university examination answer sheets as per university guidelines.
  6. Result Compilation and Declaration:
    Ensure accurate compilation of marks, preparation of mark sheets, and timely submission of results to the university and students.
  7. Addressing Grievances and Malpractice Cases:
    Handle examination-related grievances and coordinate with the Unfair Means Committee to investigate and act on cases of unfair practices.
  8. Documentation and Record Maintenance:
    Maintain proper records of examination schedules, attendance, marks, grievances, and other relevant reports for auditing and future reference.
  9. University Communication:
    Ensure timely submission of examination forms, required documents, and answer sheets to the university in accordance with prescribed deadlines.
