Green Club

Introduction:
The Green Club was established in the academic year 2024-2025 with the aim of promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students and staff. The club serves as a platform to engage students in activities that protect and preserve the environment while developing a sense of responsibility towards nature. Through various eco-friendly initiatives, awareness campaigns, and green drives, the Green Club motivates the college community to adopt environmentally sustainable habits for a cleaner and greener future.
Objective:
The primary objective of the Green Club is to create awareness about environmental issues, promote eco-friendly practices, and encourage students to actively participate in protecting and conserving the environment. The club strives to develop an eco-conscious mindset and promote sustainable living among students and faculty members.
Functions:

  1. Environmental Awareness Programs:
    Conduct seminars, workshops, and awareness campaigns on topics such as global warming, climate change, pollution control, and biodiversity conservation.
  2. Promote Waste Management:
    Raise awareness about proper waste segregation, recycling practices, and minimizing plastic usage through workshops and campaigns.
  3. Energy Conservation Initiatives:
    Organize programs to promote energy-saving practices, such as switching off unused electrical appliances and promoting renewable energy sources.
  4. Eco-Friendly Practices:
    Encourage the use of sustainable resources, such as paper bags, reusable bottles, and eco-friendly products within the college.
  5. Competitions and Activities:
    Organize eco-themed competitions like poster making, essay writing, and slogan competitions to involve students creatively in environmental activities.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain proper records of activities conducted, participation details, and impact reports for future reference and evaluation.
